Synopsis: In 1982, the completion of Jim Jarmusch's sophomore film, Stranger Than Paradise, hinged on producer Sara Driver's willingness to smuggle one of the world's rarest and most controversial films across the Atlantic Ocean.

As the price of cigarettes become astronomical in New York City, Academy Award nominated filmmaker, Christine Choy, goes the extra mile to secure her favorite brand. Bouncing from one airport to another, her duty free cigarettes get lost in the shuffle, forcing an attempt at smuggling.

This is the pilot episode of our series, Legal Smuggling, which focuses on the moment in different artists' live's in which they declare themselves as an artist.

Our largest project to date. Topic hired us in February 2019 to spend the following 16 months to host interviews with 20 individuals who have had unique experiences with law enforcement across America. From these 20 interviews, we produced, directed, and animated a 14-episode web series.
